Izobel Woolley joins Optix Solutions as Social Media Manager

After completing my Marketing degree in 2021, I started my career with an HR consultancy as their Project and Marketing Executive. I really enjoyed the consultancy side of the role, but marketing kept calling to me. Alongside that, I also volunteered with a CIC focused on supporting women in the workplace - both experiences confirmed it was time to fully take the reins and pursue marketing head-on.

That led me to an Account Manager role at a web and marketing agency, where my passion for building strong client relationships, understanding their goals, and helping them get there really came into its own.

I’d had my eye on Optix for some time, and when a move to Devon aligned with the perfect opportunity of Social Media Manager, I jumped at it. Since joining, the team has been incredibly welcoming and supportive. They’ve helped build my confidence in such a short time, seeing things in me that perhaps I didn’t yet see in myself. I can’t wait to see what the future holds.

Outside of work, you’ll find me curled up with my Kindle and a purring cat, experimenting with cocktail recipes, or flowing through a Vinyasa yoga class. A bit of yin and yang, you might say.
