Meet Xenia Casas Espina, Our New Digital Marketing Manager

As the Optix family keeps getting busier with new and exciting projects, we decided to expand the team so that we can meet all our clients’ needs and take even more projects on board. Therefore, we are delighted to welcome Xenia to the team as our new Digital Marketing Manager!

Xenia is originally from Barcelona. She moved to Exeter 2 years ago after graduating from the Autonomous University of Barcelona with a degree in Business Administration and Management – specialising in Marketing.

While doing her degree, Xenia took a part-time role in the clothes shop Elena Torrens helping increase their instore and online sales. She took over marketing by producing new content for the website, launching their online shop and managing their different social media accounts.

Before joining Optix, Xenia used to work for Lightfoot and Ashwoods helping them grow in the digital world through different Marketing channels – planning and managing all sorts of campaigns as well as reporting on results and advising on the next steps. She also managed different marketing agencies, and funny enough, this is how Xenia got to meet our team at Optix.

Outside of work Xenia enjoys travelling – specially to Barcelona to visit her friends and family, playing drums – she has been playing in different samba bands since she was 18, and dancing – ask her to teach you some salsa or Zumba!

Xenia’s experience and enthusiasm made her the right fit for the role at Optix and we couldn’t be happier to have her in our team.
