Harry Martin Is Promoted from Apprentice to Executive

Making the leap from a marketing apprentice to a marketing executive is a significant achievement in one's career. It's a step that requires dedication, hard work, and a deep understanding of the marketing industry.

That’s why we’re excited to announce that Harry has been officially promoted from a marketing apprentice to a marketing executive.

Starting As a Marketing Apprentice

Harry joined Optix on the 16th of November 2020. His apprenticeship came to an end on the 18th of October 2022, when he passed his Level 3 Digital Marketing Apprenticeship at Exeter College.

As a marketing apprentice, Harry learnt the fundamentals of marketing, such as market research, data analysis, content creation, social media management and much more.

During the apprenticeship, Harry was assigned tasks that were specific to his role, which helped him to gain experience and confidence over time. As he progressed, he was given more significant responsibilities and tasks that required him to think strategically and creatively.

“I started my apprenticeship at 22.

Before I started it, I was settled on working as a bartender for the rest of my life, and although I didn't hate the job at all, I wanted a career.

However, I'm not university material at all and I didn't feel like it was a right fit for me, so I was lost. That's when I found the Digital Marketing Apprenticeship at Optix Solutions.

I’ll always be thankful to Optix for the opportunity that they gave me. Being a part of the company and having the chance to work with all of my brilliant colleagues in the digital marketing team, and the broader team for that matter, is a joy and an honour, every day.”

Jack, our Senior Digital Marketing Manager and Head of Training has been working closely with Harry ever since his apprenticeship began, and he has a few words for the recently promoted apprentice.
