With Al picking up all things sales, bus dev and strategic relationship related, James has got all things creative, innovative and tech in his remit. What is left falls to me as MD and so I have an incredibly varied set of responsibilities and no two days are ever the same, which I love.
As MD my focus is on ensuring our team and culture is the best it can be, we are constantly looking to improve as we believe the happier our people are, the better the outputs will be for our clients.

2019 / Present: Optix Solutions, Exeter Without doubt the best career decision I have made was in joining the team here at Optix.
2016-2019: BT Plc, London Leading the consumer support functions for the SW & Wales region with over 1000 staff and 3 centers, this was a very fast paced and demanding role and one in which I learnt a lot about myself and how to lead.
2015-2016: United Networks, London Helped the owner secure a successful buyout and transition to the new owners of this telecoms business.
2012-2015: LSL Plc, Exeter A total career switch, moving not only sector but discipline as well. Responsible for quality, compliance and risk management for a commercial property business.
2010 – 2012: Kcom Plc, Exeter A national sales role, this time in the Telecom sector, leading a highly effective sales division
2008 – 2010: Connaught Plc, Bradford I was the National Sales Manager for the business, with multi disciplinary teams and multi million targets
2005 – 2008: Ventura, part of Next Plc, Leeds Managed an outsourced customer service center for British Gas, leading a large team of 150+ people
2000 – 2004: Redcats Plc, Bradford The excesses of a London lifestyle proved too much and I moved back Yorkshire and ran a Telesales team for an international retailer where I learnt a lot about people management.
1994 – 2000: EMAP Plc, London I sold magazine advertising before the internet was a thing and turned out to be quite good at it.
