Lucy Taylor Completes Internship at Optix

Lucy Taylor, a final year French and Spanish with Management student at the University of Exeter, has completed her six month internship at Optix Solutions.  

Marketing Internship at Optix Solutions

During her internship, Lucy worked on a variety of different projects and greatly improved her knowledge of various digital marketing services. She carried out keyword research and analysed Google Analytics reports to understand and implement digital marketing strategies for clients. Lucy also created engaging and informative content for a client’s website, ensuring it was primed for SEO, as well as carrying out on-page optimisation including internal linking and schema markup. 

Lucy found her experience at Optix to be rewarding and interesting; she said: 

‘I have thoroughly enjoyed my internship with Optix Solutions and have loved working with Crystal. She has been a great mentor and I have gained invaluable experience about various aspects of digital marketing, from SEO to effective content creation. It has really ignited my passion for marketing and I look forward to continuing to develop my career in this sector after I graduate.’

Next Steps After Interning

From her internship with Optix Solutions, Lucy knows that she wants to work in marketing, and ideally use her languages in her job as well. She plans to stay down in the Southwest to start her professional career after she graduates, and enjoy everything that this beautiful region has to offer.
