Building a fresh web presence for well-established Wiltshire-based company TYM presented an interesting challenge to the Optix Solution’s team.
It required the creation of a site that doesn’t simply reflect TYM’s status and experience in the flexible seals, gaskets, mouldings and extrusions industry and its vast and complex range of stock and bespoke products, but also looks bright and clear and is able to direct visitors exactly where they want to go quickly and efficiently.
Key was the design of a Content Management System (CMS) that allows the company complete control over the content on all products lines featured on the site and enables the up-loading of new details or the removal of old ones at the touch of a button. Special offer pages have been added to showcase new products and end of line stock discounts.
The home page now also features rolling images of TYM’s principal product ranges, bringing them to the forefront of the site rather than burying them on the information pages.
Optix’s Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) consultants were brought in to bolster TYM’s search engine rankings, including the identification of key search words and phrases to be incorporated in the text written and adapted by a professional content writer.
