KOR’s 10-minute film for Clinton Devon Estates, which manages 25,000 acres of countryside across North and East Devon, is one of three shortlisted for the award.
The annual awards, sponsored by the South West Reginal Development Agency, BBC West, South West Screen and other media organisations recognise the innovative use of screen-based media, with judges looking for creative, editorial and technical innovation.
The DVD film is used by Clinton Devon Estates for presentations to help explain the range and diversity of work involved in running a 21st Century land management business.
In the film key staff explain their roles in the business; from Ranger Tom Garner, a professional deer stalker who makes his own venison sausages, to Land Agent John Bain who manages the Estates’ commercial portfolio.
The film was produced by KOR’s Clare Gilbert, already an award-winning TV film producer.
Annette Richman, Managing Director at KOR Communications, said: “We are delighted to be nominated for this Media Innovations award, because we embrace all opportunities that new media technology has to offer but firmly believe in high quality production values and real attention to detail.”
The awards ceremony has been set for Bristol on 12 March 2009.
We wish KOR Communications all the very best.
